Harrowing Maisie, but beautifully written. Suicide, especially at such a young age, leaves so many questions. I'm not sure you'd categorise this as a coping mechanism, but I appreciate your depictions of alternative endings. I think these imaginings possibly helped what must have been a devastating shock.

Thank you. I think you're right about categorizing this as a coping mechanism. I've done this with other traumatic experiences or deaths and it carries me through. I know I'm doing it but I'm afraid to try to change it.
